About John Vincent Campbell
I am building CKTH.com aka CantKnockTheHustle.com. Intersecting art, sport, technology, and nature, CKTH is a platform for the world’s most selective high-performance customers. CKTH’s in-house brand is called (aka “13G”): A modular multisport system of best-in-class wetsuits, premium apparel and other innovations — inspired by U.S. Military layering. I am equipped with one-of-one expertise and experience that includes founding, growing and successfully exiting from a globally established brand. I also provide management consulting for brand strategy, business tactics and media services — to worldwide clients across various industries. Before CKTH, I founded and managed all business and creative activities at Matuse for 13+ years. To start the Company, I pioneered and trademarked limestone-based Geoprene rubber: a lighter, warmer, longer-lasting, and eco-friendly alternative to traditional neoprene (in collaboration with the Yamamoto Corporation in Osaka, Japan). I negotiated a global exclusivity agreement for this material. And in 2009 — in downtown Osaka, Japan with the current Prime Minister sitting front row — I was asked to be one of three speakers at the funeral service of Keiichi Yamamoto (aka, One of Japan’s all-time industrialists and the rubber’s OG innovator). To fund everything, I personally raised $4.25 million of venture capital and oversaw the P&L, all product development and creative direction of the company. Ain’t no half-stepping (or half days) since day one. Importantly, when I exited the operation, it still boasted the notorious concept store in Del Mar, CA: THE BLACK SPOT (namesake via one of my favorite stories, Robert Louis Stevenson’s, Treasure Island). Aka: A genuine-article community hub with a festive history that lives on in the hearts and minds of Del Mar, CA. Like always, ad meliora means onto better things.

CKTH.com aka Cantknockthehustle.com is a personalization system for the world’s high-performance customers. CKTH’s in-house brand is called (aka “13G”): A modular multisport system of functionally superior thermoregulation: wetsuits, premium apparel and other innovations — inspired by U.S. Military layering. The system includes best-in-class 00 BY Wetsuits: category-leading products built with zero exceptions (or excuses) in quality or sustainability — via the #Yamamoto Corporation’s longer-lasting, limestone-based and 99% water impermeable #OGOptimumTechnology (compared to the usual 65% via oil-based neoprene). Game-changing longevity & lightweight functionality via a perfectly uniform cellular structure that looks like tiny hexagons (in addition to the most tear-resistant & hydrophobic 4-way stretch nylon on the market). Live and direct from #Osaka, Japan. And don’t be fooled by lesser-than imitations and landfill-destined products that are striving for mediocrity and making excuses for shortcomings in performance (i.e, the truth and big facts are out there). If you’re looking to invest in the world’s absolute best and longest-lasting wetsuit, this is it. And there are no substitutes. Ain’t no half steppin’ (or half days) since day one.
