About John Veitch
I am a CFA charterholder as well as a Ph.D. economist. In my role as Head of Learning Content and Experience at the CFA Institute I oversaw the ongoing evolution and updating of the curriculum associated with the CFA, CIPM and Investment Foundation programs. In addition, I was charged with working on the transition of content to the CFA Institute\'s Learning EcoSystem and evolving content development to take advantage of the new platform. As a Professor at the University of San Francisco, I developed and managed from 20••••18, the MS in Financial Analysis (MSFA) program at the University of San Francisco. This program trains students in all the areas of knowledge required by the CFA program Candidate Body of Knowledge. I also served for more than a decade as the Education Director of the CFA Society of San Francisco where I oversaw its live CFA Review programs for Levels I through of the CFA exams.As Associate Dean for Graduate Programs in USF\'s School of Management, I helped establish the MS in Data Science (originally Analytics) program at USF, an innovative one-year program that combines sophisticated curriculum in programming and data analysis with consulting practicum projects where students work with Bay Area companies to solve \'big data\' problems.
