John Turner

About John Turner

John serves as the Community Collaboration Manager at NIFA. In this role, he focuses on building relationships with providers who serve special populations and works closely with the public to highlight and promote NIFA and coordinate with state and local agencies. He has over 30 years of experience as a social worker in the housing industry. He has directed federal grants towards ending homelessness and is a leader throughout Nebraska in providing scattered site rental assistance for special needs populations. John is a governor-appointed commissioner on the Nebraska Commission on Housing and Homelessness and the current chair of the Continuum of Care subcommittee.
