John Turner is the Director of Employer Solutions for Memorial Hermann, the largest Health System in Texas, and oversees the Industrial Rehabilitation, Multidisciplinary Pain Management, Occupational Medicine, Corporate Wellness, and WorkLink programs. He has a Masters degree from Brigham Young University and over 20 years of experience working with individuals recovering from on-the-job injuries. He developed “Successful Returns”, the Industrial Rehabilitation and Pain Management programs designed to help injured workers return to work, and “Work Right”, an Ergonomics program designed to help prevent injuries in the workplace.He is a guest lecturer on subjects ranging from exercise program development to prevention of repetitive stress disorders in the workplace.He has been published in a variety of journals and papers such as Rehab Management and a health supplement in the Houston Chronicle, where he shared the latest in ergonomic innovations.He has been a frequent guest lecturer to the Texas Workers Comp Update helping others stay abreast of what is going on in the industry.John is a surveyor for CARF (the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) and travels throughout the World as a consultant to rehabilitation organization’s gaining accreditation.
