Communicate principal and/or supplier strategies and objectives to sales team and ensure objectives are aligned across LBBS.• Set and maintain sales prices in the price book and inform team members of price actions to roll out to customers.• Manage Margins consistent with product strategies for either market share gain or optimizing profitability.• Act as a technical product support to our sales team by clarifying product information, emphasizing benefits and identifying emerging trends to drive sales growth; coordinate product training as needed• Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators as well as portfolio gaps and new product opportunities• Monitor and identify supply chain risks, participate in supply solutions including seeking new suppliers to balance risk to safeguard commercial activities.• Monitor monthly opportunity pipeline reports and collaborate with Sales Representatives to move opportunities towards close and update forecasts as required.• Review call reports for assigned principals to stay informed of activity and offer advice on strategies specific to an account; make joint calls as needed.• Responds to sales requests for assistance with quotations/RFQ’s, supplier information, and assists with analyzing attrition.• Coordinate with the operations team on samples, product cost updates, new product set-up, and participates in S & OP meetings to support inventory management goals.• Manage requests for product documentation, review of specs for substitutions, determine disclosure per quality agreements or customer protocols• Partner with vertical and corporate marketing team on tradeshows, marketing campaigns, etc.• Support Principal Directors with Tier 1 Principals, and onboarding or expanding suppliers and associated turnover.
