About John Thompson

An entrepreneur at heart, I love the everyday challenges of running a business along with the satisfaction of building a creative work environment that provides our customers with solutions that impact the success of their business. This started back in 2001 when my wife, Missy Thompson, and I started KMT Creative Group a regional branding and advertising agency. KMT provided me an opportunity to grow as a leader and mature my experience in business and brand strategy during a time that saw the introduction of digital advertising and the consumer’s obsession with social media. What a progressive era for technology and use of the Internet. In 2015 KMT Creative Group was acquired by The Brandon Agency, which had locations in Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Charlotte, Cleveland, and Breckenridge. In 2017 I co-founded FLX Media that quickly evolved to FLX Systems. FLX Systems is committed to studying the challenges facing the frontline workforce and how their performance directly impacts the operations, profitability and brand reputation of an organization. We use this knowledge to develop proprietary mobile technologies for the deskless workforce that improve communication, documentation and access to job knowledge. We strive to continuously advance our technology to meet the ever-evolving needs of industries across a multitude of verticals that range from Transportation to Retail to Construction to Hospitality.
