I joined Medallion Bank (MB) in July 2019 and was hired to build a strategic partner lending business and grow the bank\'s revenues.During my 5+ years with First Electronic Bank we increased capital by 90 percent and increased revenue by more than 100 percent. We moved the office to Sugar House and took over the CIT Bank office space receiving over $1 million in furniture, equipment and improvements at no cost. We satisfied a Consent Order that was put in place prior to my joining FEB. We built strong compliance, legal and strategic partner management departments. We launched several national lending programs including Fundbox, HappyMoney (formerly Payoff.com), Genesis, Dent-A-Med, Applied Data Finance (ADF), LendingPoint, Blispay, and MoneyLion. Several other programs were in the pipeline, ready to launch or with signed term sheets. We also became principal members of Visa and Mastercard, started taking deposits for the first time in the history of the bank, and grew the balance sheet by almost 400 percent. In 2009, I became President CIT Bank and helped transition it from an ILC to a commercial bank, successfully moved loan origination platforms from CIT Group Inc. to CIT Bank, and built a retail deposit platform, acquiring $6 billion in deposits. As part of the original management team that started CIT Bank in October I helped launch several national consumer lending programs including programs for Dell Computer, Bill-Me-Later, Case New Holland and Fingerhut.I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting degree and served as a board member of the Utah Community Reinvestment Corporation, Utah Bankers Association, Salt Lake Habitat for Humanity and NeighborWorks, SLC. I currently serve on the board and Executive Committee of the Utah Association of Financial Services.
