BOSTON SCIENTIFIC Snr. Process Engineer Jan ’21 - PresentTechnical transfer project (Varithena) from BTG (UK) to Boston Scientific (Cork)• Process/System Owner for the Wet Equipment Work Package.(Project Manager & Process Lead)• Project manager; responsible for the schedule, budget, and scope control of the wet equipment package.• Process design & qualification of the wet equipment - parts washer, vessels, COP/SOP, compounding & formulation processes (including cleaning validation).• Senior engineer for the fill-finish process. Involved in design and technical challenges on all equipment packages (equipment, utilities, cleanroom, warehouse & material handling, process flow and lean design).• Responsible for equipment and process safety (through HAZOPs, FMEAs, risk assessments and GEP)• I am an integral member of and contributor to the project leadership team and the implementation of a new Quality Management System to support the upcoming pharmaceutical licence application. • Technical lead (customer/client side) for defining the user requirements for IT and automation systems for data management & equipment integration to align with current regulatory requirements.• Responsible for promoting a culture of Continuous Improvement and Lean within the project team.• I am supporting junior engineers within the Varithena project and a sponsor/mentor of a college student’s final year project (cycle development & cleaning validation for the parts washer).
