Provide leadership in complex clinical research activities including clinical trial programs for assigned area of focus for registrational, non-registrational, and/or research studies- Reach agreement on study goals with other functional areas, coordinate and oversee study monitors and investigators to ensure compliance- Implementation and maintenance of clinical trial related policies as well as processes and procedures related to the product development process- Work with Project Manager to define and manage budgets and timelines for study and delivery of documentation to meet study milestones- Develop clinical trial documents and records- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional leaders, internal and external stakeholders and alliance partners- Act as liaison with external partners to identify and implement collaborative studies- Manage internal and external resources to support scheduled studies- Oversee all study related activities for complex studies- Assess risk to compliance and data integrity and serve as the team point of contact for escalation to senior management- Represent Clinical Operations at cross-functional project meetings- Provide leadership to study team members- Ensure study team members comply with regulations, SOPs, and protocols- Develops Clinical Research Associates and ensure training, development and qualification- Provide direction and membership to study team members- Review deliverables of study team members and provide feedback.
