I am a master’s-level graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently work as a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant at The Ridge, a residential treatment facility serving individuals with substance use disorders.In my role, I support clients in early recovery through group facilitation, daily check-ins, psychoeducation, and structured recovery support. I collaborate closely with licensed clinicians and multidisciplinary treatment staff to help maintain a safe, consistent, and supportive environment for individuals navigating detox, stabilization, and the early stages of sobriety. This work has reinforced the importance of boundaries, accountability, emotional regulation, and compassion in effective clinical care.I am pursuing my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University, where I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA. My training emphasizes evidence-based practice, ethical decision-making, multicultural competence, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. My clinical interests include substance use disorders, trauma-informed care, group counseling, depression, anxiety, and recovery-oriented systems of care.I am a member of the Association for Humanistic Counseling and the American Counseling Association, and I am committed to continued growth as a developing clinician. I am working toward future licensure as a mental health counselor and welcome opportunities to learn, collaborate, and contribute within behavioral health and addiction treatment settings.
