About John Stroemer

I am the Founder and Managing Partner of Stroemer & Company. I am a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Florida. I am also certified in Florida Sales and Use Tax, and a Community Associations Manager. I graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After college I began my career working for a Big 8 CPA firm, subsequently, I then relocated to southwest Florida and opened my own firm. Since then I have built one of the larger full service CPA firms in Florida. I am very proud of the firm’s accomplishments. Stroemer & Company has undergone ten Peer Reviews, covering 30 years, and has received a pass rating each time. This represents the highest possible rating that a CPA firm can achieve.I have extensive industry experience and concentrate my practice in the areas of condominium (including high rises), homeowner and master associations, country clubs, time-shares, restaurants, golf and tennis facilities, developers, construction, general contractors, marinas, not-for-profits, pension plans, and general businesses.I have instructed many workshops geared towards Accounting, Tax and Auditing. Topics have included Auditing and Accounting Updates, Fraud, Bad Debt/Foreclosure, Tax Compliance, Statutory Requirements, Developer Issues and Financial Disclosures.
