About John Stickney

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked in the pharmaceutical and medical science space, helping people make sense of complex data so they can make better decisions. Explaining science clearly, connecting it to patient needs, and supporting informed clinical conversations has been the most rewarding part of my career. That strength is what now motivates my transition into a Medical Science Liaison role. I am a PhD biomedical scientist with experience across pharma R&D, nerve pain and peripheral neuropathy, oncology, neurology, regulatory strategy, and technical liaison work. At P&G, I led scientific programs in nerve health, collaborating with Medical Affairs to interpret clinical and mechanistic findings for healthcare audiences. Earlier in my career, I conducted oncology research focused on tumor biology and cell signaling, building a strong foundation in disease mechanisms. Across all of my roles, I have been the person who brings clarity to complex science. I have presented data to external experts, supported evidence packages in regulated environments, and guided cross functional teams through scientific decisions. I enjoy creating understanding, building trust, and helping others connect the science to real patient impact. What drives me now is the opportunity to support clinicians, engage in scientific exchange, and stay close to work that can make a difference for patients living with pain and neurological conditions.
