About John Staufer
I am an experienced life-long learner and educator holding a diverse background with highly transferable skills for adult learning and training. In my current role as Software Trainer, I provide hands-on training and support – both remote and on-site – during various implementation process. I also mentor and support trainers who are newer to the role, maintain training materials, manage the LMS for the company and clients, and provide customer support for existing clients. Prior to Club Automation, I was a 6-12 Regular and Special Education Math Teacher. I provided training and support for my departments on successful implementation of our learning management system. This is in addition to facilitating meetings and communications across settings, developing and managing Individualized Educational Plans and subsequent conferences with families and staff, and producing data-driven differentiated lesson plans daily. With the numerous responsibilities of my position, my passion is found in helping my peers with developing their online courses to better support students and connecting parents. These opportunities have allowed me to develop strong time management and project prioritization skills in a fast-paced work environment in addition to my technology skills and education background. Furthermore, I have become a proven leader inside and outside the classroom, can easily adapt in a moment’s notice to new situations, remain organized and focused within demanding situations, review and produce data-driven decisions for best possible outcomes, and become innovative to get responsibilities done.
