He received honorary doctorate degrees from New York College of Health and Cleveland Institute of Art. John serves on the Boards of Trustees for Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland Institute of Art, and University Circle, Inc. In addition, he is the Chairman of the Architectural Review Board of Gates Mills, OH.John has received numerous awards including the IDEA Gold Award, DuPont Packaging Gold Award, EDI Innovation Award, Nortech Innovation Award, SIFE Champion Award, Patent Impact Award and the Society of Plastics Engineers Product of the Year Award. He is also an inductee of the Inside Business Hall of Fame. John & his partner, John Nottingham were named EY Entrepreneur of the Year for NEO in 2017.John has been featured on The Today Show, CNN, NBC News, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Forbes, New York Times, Wired and Fast Company.
