I was a GIS specialist for many years but around five years ago began doing more in the data science and machine learning realm. We’re at a unique moment where there is a confluence between the data that’s available and the tools at our disposal to discover and tell the story hidden in data. This means for much of the data out there, there’s still a lot of low hanging fruit available for data science. I\'ve found GIS can be a key tool for unlocking that story. I have expertise in public health (both US and internationally), environmental and demographic data, health care and working with governments (US and internationally). On the technical side I have experience with ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Python, R, Microsoft PowerBI, and Tableau among other data tools.
