Works with the City\'s Historic Preservation Officer in the management of historic landmarks owned by the City of Baltimore. Performs survey, assessment, and monitoring of each historic facility\'s building materials and conditions.Coordinates with vendors to develop scopes of work for preservation, maintenance, and repair in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior\'s Standards. Performs research, site photography, analysis, and writing toward review of major project design for compliance with preservation standards. Prepares and submits Sec 106/Mini 106 review packages to ensure legal compliance between the Baltimore City DGS Historic Properties Program and the SHPO/MHT.Researches, writes, and prepares National Register of Historic Places/MIHP nominations on behalf of the Baltimore City DGS Historic Properties Program.Interacts with, and presents writing and research to nonprofit occupants of city-owned historic properties, local planning department, historic preservation commission, landmarks commission, and State Historic Preservation Office; ensuring compliance with landmarks ordinances, Section 106 Review, and historic preservation easements.
