Somers is the CEO of Harmac Medical Products, a global leader in contract engineering and manufacturing of single-use medical devices. For over 40 years, Harmac has provided innovative technical solutions and manufacturing services to companies ranging from Fortune 500 medical technology firms to high-potential startups. Headquartered in Buffalo, N.Y, with additional manufacturing locations in Ireland and Mexico, Harmac employs over 1,200 people worldwide. In addition, John is a private investor and is a founding board member & chairman of Endeavor WNY, part of Endeavor Global, Inc, an international not-for-profit which supports high-impact entrepreneurs and their companies. He also serves on the boards of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, Buffalo Renaissance Foundation, and Viridi Parente, a startup in the disruptive energy space. John is a proud member of YPO and holds a bachelor’s degree from Williams College an MBA from Boston University. He is a graduate of the President’s Program in Leadership at Harvard Business School. John resides in Western N.Y, with his wife, Kristin. They enjoy spending time outdoors where Kristin – trail rides while John cycles along country roads. In the winter they hit the slopes and ski.
