When I was 20 years old, I was involved in an auto accident where a friend of mine was killed. I was devastated! The loss of my friend left a lifetime imprint on me and indirectly lead me to Property & Casualty Insurance. I was fortunate that the auto insurance that I had at the time made us whole but not everyone is as fortunate. I have been in the industry for 16 years now and in that time, I have developed a strong skill set as a personal risk manager and put my clients at the center of what I do. By no means am I perfect but my goal is to help my clients protect what they have worked so hard to build. A personal risk manager is more than just being an insurance broker. Having relationships with multiple insurance companies are important but in the end, having the tools and resources to help clients identify risk exposures that could have a financial impact on them is what sets me apart from other insurance brokers. Identifying and eliminating those exposures are essential before ever engaging the insurance carriers that I work with as to who might offer the right insurance at the lowest cost for my client.
