Experience
Subsea Umbilical Riser & Flowline (Surf) Lead Vito Project Phase Ii & Iii
Feb 2020 — Present · Houston, TX, US
Responsible for the complete subsea system from concept select phase through execution/installation ensuring that all safety, technical and commercial risk were properly assessed. Oversaw the SURF equipment design, delivery (cost/schedule), installation and commissioning activities (+$200mln). Managed SURF resource forecasting as well as directing work for project team. Interfaced both within the SURF organization as well as across the organization (Vito Platform, Wells, Project Services, Subsurface, Regulatory). Successfully configured the subsea infrastructure for flexibility to allow tie in of three (3) Phase II wells to the Phase I production system resulting in production 2yrs before being reconfigured to tie into the long-term water injection system for the projects’ injection phase. Led the field electrical / hydraulic assessment / configuration and leveraged the Shell equipment stocking program resulting in a project savings of $20mln and 8mons of drilling acceleration. Completed delivery, installation and commissioning of three (3) XTs, a manifold, four (4) jumpers, a hydraulic distribution module, seven (7) flying leads without any recordables, under budget and achieved production from each well within five (5) days of the completion of drilling activities. Successfully undertook the Injection Phase Installation invitation to Tender (ITT) for the host hull piping, riser and flowline installation which secured the first water injection date but also included optionality to accelerate the installation campaign to de-risk topside construction offshore activities
