As a Trucking Sales Manager, I lead a high-performing team consisting of 6 Account Managers and 25 Producers across three regional offices, all focused exclusively on commercial trucking insurance. I am responsible for driving new business growth and ensuring exceptional client retention by overseeing the sales and service processes for both new and existing trucking clients. My role includes developing and implementing sales strategies, setting performance targets, and providing hands-on coaching to ensure each team member consistently meets or exceeds expectations in a competitive marketplace.In addition to managing daily operations, I work closely with insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders to streamline workflows, maintain carrier relationships, and support customized solutions that align with each client’s specific risk profile. I also play a key role in training team members on industry regulations, safety metrics like CAB scores, and policy structures unique to the trucking industry. My focus is on building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement that ensures both our clients and our team succeed.
