Permanent Some of my tasks and responsibilities include -* ensuring BI (primarily QlikView & Sense) is recognised and known within the business * running Qlik workshops and promoting Qlik continuously classrooms for colleagues to learn * working with colleagues to improve their data literacy * promoting the use of data to understand our business better and current processes * managing a team of 2 and being a mentor to encourage growth within the team * promoting agile working to meet business requirements and keep engaged with the business * defining the BI strategy and sharing with senior management, ensuring it is closely linked to our business strategy * working with our partners to understand the technology and tools that are available today, and what will be available in the future, and to have these on our roadmap * working towards our roadmap & BI strategy goals * getting all data sources (internal & external) into our Qlik Data Warehouse, so the data is readily available to answer any business questions/queries * using our Qlik Data Warehouse to stage and process (ETL) the data to understand the quality of the data and add controls to processes where appropriate * ensuring the senior stakeholders can make quicker decisions based on good reliable data * ensuring the right data is widely available to the right people at the right time * keeping up to date as a team with the new technologies/tools as we move into machine learning and AI (move up the BI maturity ladder)
