Management and Operations Consultant- ManagerProvide Management, Operations and Staffing analysis for police departments throughout the United States and Canada. Conduct onsite interviews and write comprehensive reports. Conduct feasibility studies to provide government entities with costs associated with different policing alternatives. Provide alternatives to current management practices and compare current operations against industry best practices. The studies result in more effective management of personnel and resources. Recent studies include:• KS – Analyzed current staffing and management of operations. Suggested staffing changes that would provide cost savings in some functional areas that could be used in core service areas to provide better police service. Suggested increase in staffing to handle work loads and identified operational and software improvements that would increase efficiency in a core process. • CA -Analyzed current staffing and management of operations. Suggested staffing changes that would provide cost savings in some functional areas that could be used in core service areas to provide better police service.• KS – Reviewed staffing and organizational practices of both the Sheriff’s Office and City Police Department looking at reducing duplication of services. Provided workload analysis for multiple units within each department. Recommended changes that would reduce duplication of services saving the county money while still provided excellent service. Suggested alternatives to current approaches to criminal case management. Identified gaps in management software that could result in a lack of accountability.
