ABOUT JOHN SCHUTTE
I am a Colonel in the United States Air Force, currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Staff at USEUCOM. Additionally, outside of duty hours, I am completing my dissertation to earn a doctorate from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs. Previously, I served as the Commander of the 19th Airlift Wing. I have \"survived\" four formative staff assignments at the Pentagon and eight years spent living abroad at the tactical end of policy decisions as an aviator. Outside of work and school, I enjoy reading, cooking, and traveling with my wife and three children.
