About John Schneider

Multiple years of land experience with increasing responsibility in the oil and gas commercial arena, including limited exposure to GOM operations. My career commenced with title, leasing and surface work prior to transitioning to a full in-house operations desk with Shell Exploration and Production Co. Upon transitioning, I worked all major oil and gas producing states with the exception of Oklahoma, California and North Dakota. After 6 years of operations work I spent 1.5 years working onshore business development which involved an estimated $1.5 billion in closed acquisitions. Upon completion of business development work, I transitioned back to operations and led a land team for Shell\'s Permian asset with the team focused on operations and well delivery for Loving and Winkler Counties of Texas. After this role I began working for Occidental Petroleum as a Land Negotiator Advisor for Permian Operations. I currently work for Occidental Petroleum as the Texas Delaware Land Manger leading a team of 16 negotiators.
