I am a seasoned state and local tax professional with over 30 years of experience in indirect taxes including: sales and use tax, city business license tax, property tax, real estate transfer taxes, and escheat/unclaimed property. With experience garnered from roles as a former California Sales Tax auditor, in industry, and in consulting/public accounting, I am very well versed in multi-state issues in a variety of industries. Further, I have technical experience with various ERP (SAP and Oracle) and tax calculation systems (Vertex and Taxware) implementations and configurations and with sales/use tax compliance process automation. I am currently a Licensed CPA in CA and am a Certified Member of the Institute (CMI)- Sales Tax - Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
