About John Scheid

I am passionate about guiding organizations as they grow to new heights, whether by strengthening their corporate governance or investing in their future.I enjoy new challenges and have worked with Boards of Directors as a partner in improving governance and strategic oversight procedures for 34 years. In addition to my current board roles, I’ve worked with many leading organizations across industries.As CEO and Founder of Scheid Investment Group, I provide equity investments in public and private enterprises with a focus on innovative organizations. Through my company, we have also provided capital note and subordinated debt financings for developing institutional projects.I had the pleasure of seeing how some of the world’s largest financial companies operate during my 36 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers. My proudest accomplishments include leading the Global Insurance Practice and the US Insurance Practice through their most significant period of growth, and the merger of Price Waterhouse with Coopers & Lybrand, resulting in the largest professional services firm serving the industry. I enjoy global travel with my wife and family together with outdoor activities including biking, water skiing and fishing.
