About John S. Koo

Jack Koo is the Founder and CEO of BAM Broadband, an Internet Service Provider deploying hybrid Fiber-to-the-Premise / NextGen Fixed Wireless networks in the Mountain West and Southwest regions of the U.S. His fourth private equity backed start-up, Jack has built some of the largest telecom companies in the country over the past 25 years. He was formerly President & CEO of Rise Broadband, the largest fixed wireless provider in the U.S. Jack also served as CFO of WINfirst, which constructed one of the nation\'s first and largest Fiber-to-the-Home networks. He co-founded FrontierVision Partners, which was built from a start-up to a top 10 cable television multiple system operator in four years and was sold to Adelphia Communications. Prior to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Jack worked for eleven years for Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Bank of New England specializing in telecommunications and media finance. At CIBC, Jack co-founded the Mezzanine Finance Group. He is also the principal of Koo Ventures, making private investments. Jack received a BA in Communications from Vanderbilt University.

BAM is constructing hybrid Fiber-to-the-Premise and NextGen Fixed Wireless networks throughout the Mountain West and Southwest regions of the U.S. The company is investing hundreds of millions of dollars in State-of-the-Art broadband networks. BAM provides the highest network speeds and capacity and a superior customer experience, offering a much needed alternative to monopolistic cable and telephone providers.
