Alpha Theory is a software tool that adds discipline to the investment process by helping managers choose which ideas should go into the portfolio, how to size those positions, and how to trade them. The discipline is based on a decision process algorithm that is similar to that of poker theory, actuarial science, physics and other decision oriented fields, but is simple enough to be understood by anyone with basic math skills. Alpha Theory becomes a guide that, based on the managers input, will tell them the best economic decision, every time.
