ABOUT JOHN RUSSELL
Experienced in managing a variety of strategic land development and transport studies in particular in the residential and energy sectors as well as waste, commercial and education sectors. This includes development of transport strategies, the operational evaluation of transport schemes, liaison with members of the public and key stakeholders and where necessary the preparation of the necessary documentation to support development through all stages of the planning process. The majority of projects have involved working in teams with professionals of other disciplines, providing transport and highway guidance to projects from initial concept, through the masterplanning / feasibility stage and on to the detail required for submission of planning applications or Development Consent Orders in the case of nationally significant infrastructure projects. I am experienced in negotiating appropriate transport and highways planning conditions / obligations with the relevant authorities throughout this process.
