About John Rogers

I was born and raised in Plano, Texas and came to Southern California after graduating from Texas Tech University in 1987. I started digging ditches for my father\'s construction company in Dallas, Texas (Rogers-O\'Brien Construction Company) when I was 14 years of age during summer and Christmas vacations. Upon graduation, I started working in San Diego with Doug Barnhart and then later with Dave DeNardi in Fallbrook. My job duties during this portion of my career were onsite in nature. This has helped me to have a unique perspective on estimating actual job construction costs and having an uncanny ability to confirm unit cost rates. I returned to Texas in 1993 for five years working on high tech projects for Texas Instruments and then returned to Southern California in 1998. I have added significant commercial, industrial and government work to my resume. Today I am a principal of a very competitive small commercial contractor based in the Inland Empire and serving all of Southern California. We have numerous repeat clients and pride ourselves on our speed of construction and quality delivered. Our unofficial motto is \"we are only as good as our last project\".
