About John Roberge
An alumnus of the Carlson School of Management with a B.S.B. degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) Currently works as a risk analytic consultant within the Captial Markets, Securities, and Operations of the investment banking industry. The Securities Operations & Accounting group (SOA) in the Controllers Division of Corporate Finance is responsible for the settlement, clearing, custody, accounting, and regulatory reporting for securities within the available-for-sale and held-to-maturity investment portfolios, as well as Wells Fargo\'s external and affiliate funding products (debt). SOA is responsible for the maintenance, control, and data integrity of the related accounting systems of record. The Help desk and Static Data Teams are responsible for improving the effectiveness of the finance systems used within SOA. Responsibilities include management of securities portfolio accounting systems, legacy platform replacements, portfolio asset migrations, and technology upgrades. Consideration of all aspects of the implementation lifecycle including business requirements, configuration review, testing, data migration, conversion, training, and go-live support. My primary professional objective is to expand my knowledge in the field of Information Technology and Processes. Changing the world through innovation is not an end goal for me, but a continuously working process where the desired output is a healthier and more promising future.
