About John Riad
I am John. I was born and raised in Egypt, and I moved to the USA when I was 16 years old. It was difficult coming from a different background and a different culture as I didn’t speak any English. Moving abroad helped me to develop a growth mindset and emotional intelligence. I went to college and earned my business degree in Business Management. I then fell in love with Chick-Fil-A and was inspired by the company\'s founder, Truett Cathy. He showed me how to glorify God and impact people by being a faithful steward through focusing on his three Ps: People, Product, and Profit. I found Chick-fil-A to be a great company to work for as it was a great match for my values and beliefs. I have been working for five years for Chick-Fil-A in order to sharpen my restaurant and business skills. I am currently finishing up my leadership program and mentorship with Mr. Howe Rice, the owner of several Chick-fil-As in RVA. I aim to follow his path in becoming a restaurant owner.
