Fire/Security and fire Seals for smoke detectors

In view of Compliance, there is a very serious circumstance which is being left undone. Therefore I\'m providing Critical Safety Information, so to Update everyone, reference Life and Property Safety Risks in 99% of Buildings. This is relating to internal fire spread, as stated in building Regs B: 3 to 3.6 (ADB), BS5839: 37.1 to 2, BS997, BS5266: 8.1 & BS7671: 527.2 etc (or the equivalent as in each Country), which enables us to meet with the Law as it stands and avoid Liability by failing to Comply therein. The Senario issue has been occuring for years now when Smoke detectors are installed in buildings, they are never fire sealed,(which can be verified by a simple inspection), hence this peppering of holes from 54mm to 170mm has gone un- noticed, which as I\'m sure you will agree is a obvious life and property safety risk, which breeches the fire protection that is required to be in place.(The only logical reason for this failure and serious non compliance, is that somehow it may be believed that detectors are fire proof, which they are not, since generally they made of a polycarbonate plastic material, that melts at relatively low temperatures, leaving a hole in the fixture element). Please can you possibly provide awareness of this to those who need this information. Any endorsement or feedback will help stop this issue and bring it up to a state of compliance. Furthermore this is a problem which will reduce the available escape periods predicted. Which compounds how serious this actually is, but this can be solved, by use of a fire Seal (details of which can be provided), that has been specifically designed for this purpose, or by use of a temporary agreed method, requiring 3rd party certification. On the merits sought for, this level of compliance is akin to what is required already to be done in the Electrical Lighting Sector, but this is not the case in the Fire Alarm Industry. This seems to be because the Installed works are not usually completed until the buildings is handed over, hence therefore it is being simply missed by Building Control, so it just never gets Inspected at all?(We can also apply this corrective measure in the intrinsically safe environment & the hermetically sealed areas of deployment use, as in where their is the potential of explosion or risk of contamination ). So hopefully now this can finally be formally addressed with everyone\'s input, that we might instigate the changes needed of Compliance in the F&S Industry? Many thanks
