ABOUT JOHN RAPER
I am an ambitious Logistics Strategy and Planning Consultant with over 12 years’ experience working in both the public and private sectors. This includes five years as a Logistics Officer in the British Army and three years working in private equity in London, developing businesses and operations in Southern Africa. In 2017, I moved into Construction Logistics, working as the Infrastructure Logistics Integrator for Wilson James at Heathrow Airport. I was then selected by Heathrow to work as the Lead Logistics Integrator on the Heathrow Expansion Programme, to plan the logistics scope and delivery strategies across the On and Off Airport environment. More recently, with the issues effecting Heathrow third runway Expansion and with Covid-19 dramatically impacting aviation I have moved into a seconded role, strategically planning and enabling the logistics delivery of the capital plan to build back better. I am a skilled communicator with experience coordinating and delivering a vast array of projects. I am ambitious, hardworking, adaptable to change and focused under pressure. I’m a confident leader and enjoy working in a team and inspiring others to deliver their best. This has seen me receive the Wilson James Aviation Sector Manager of The Year Award in 2018/19, being enrolled on an MBA and selected by Heathrow to work on the Expansion Programme.
