ABOUT JOHN RADFORD

I have been teaching mathematics for over 10 years, at IB Standard, and Higher, Level as well as Cambridge IGCSE Core, Extended and Additional levels. In parallel to this I have been a College Counselor, for an international school thus gaining experience with admission policies of universities at an international level. I am also IT Coordinator. I have implemented the school\'s new Learning Management System (LMS), namely ManageBac, and I was the project manager for our school\'s new website this site was developed with FinalSite. In the past I have worked as Head of Mathematics Department, Consultant Structural Engineer, and made a side-step working as Guest Services Manager of a team of 25 people in luxury hotel business for one of the world\'s leading hotels, namely the \"Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris\"​, ranked \"best hotel in the world\"​ more than 8 times by Zagat surveys. These experiences allow me to include numerous \"real life examples\"​ of the use, and importance, of mathematics in my teaching, which I feel is greatly appreciated by my students. I am an eternal student, in the right sense of the term, and feel there is always more to know. I have enrolled at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie, in Paris, where I have completed numerous credits in Pure Mathematics, and Computer Science, in order to deepen my solid background in Applied Mathematics and Engineering.
