John Kane has worked in the environmental services industry for 35 years, with a range of experience including Superfund investigations for former mining sites in Montana and managing Superfund sites at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in Washington State. More recently, Mr. Kane has managed numerous Brownfields Redevelopment sites, including the Juanita Village site in Kirkland, Washington, investigation and cleanup of former auto service stations and dry cleaners sites throughout the United States. Mr. Kane started Kane Environmental in July with the corporate office in Seattle, and branch offices in Tacoma, WA and Phoenix, AZ.Specialties: Brownfields Redevelopment projects throughout the US. Pre-Development Services include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II ESAs for vapor intrusion, soil, groundwater, and sediments. Remediation services, cleaning up properties for redevelopment and obtaining closure letters from agencies. Underground storage tank removals and cleanup, in-situ remediation and bio-remediation alternatives. Kane Environmental also provide Geotechnical Services, Water Resources Services, Expert Witness, and Asbestos and Lead-Paint Surveys.
