John Purinton, SE has been creating parking solutions for over 25 years. Licensed in 8 states, he is responsible for the design of over 150 parking projects, such as the Los Angeles International Airport Intermodal Transportation Facility-West, and leads parking structure design for Watry Design, Inc. Currently the Chair of NPA\'s Parking Consultant’s Council, John was a contributor to the latest edition of The Dimensions of Parking and has both written and spoken on design build delivery and the cost of parking structures.As a Principal, John leads the Design Build teams and cost estimating efforts for Watry Design. Drawing from his extensive experience in parking structure design and renovation, he ensures that each project\'s structural solution effectively integrates with the parking layout and architectural design, a vital role when considering the structural system usually accounts for over half of the project construction cost. In addition, John has close relationships with contractors. These relationships not only enable him to provide unparalleled Design Build solutions for his clients, but also to provide highly accurate preliminary options of probable construction cost.
