   I founded JPE in 1991 after 13 years in retail as an owner/operator/gunsmith of a firearms specialty store catering to competitive shooters, varmint hunters, gun enthusiasts and avid reloaders. I made the decision to start developing a product line of my own and focus on the action shooting community world wide, as that was my main personal interest and my direct experience in these games was the basis for new product development. JPE now specializes in the design and manufacturing of precision rifle systems for Law Enforcement, Military, hunting and competitive shooting applications. However, 75% of our sales is in the sub component area, specializing in support of OEM projects by other manufactures, the gunsmithing trade and the home builder. We also have a robust export business supported by an infrastructure of firearms export specialists here and abroad as well as foreign distributors.
