The Project is required to provide continuity of steam supply and therefore long-term viability of the Grangemouth Complex. The New Energy Plant will have the capacity to produce 485MW of HPS and there will also be capacity to generate 40MWe of electricity.The key components of the Project are as follows:*Main boiler area*Demineralised water storage tanks*Steam let-down equipment and STGSub-station and control roomInfrastructure corridor across the Bo\'ness Rd for the installation of required pw to connect with existing infrastructure.

Joined BP Chemicals as in 1992 and involved in Maintenance until BP restructured in 2002, becoming Planning & Scheduling Engineer/Specialist for BP Polymers to oversee maintenance and continuous improvement for various polymer plants including high density assets. In 2005, led a major decommissioning on the Rigidex 3 polymer plant and subsequently moved into Grangemouth Site Services (2006) as Contracts Specialist to manage a portfolio of main contractors (£15m budget). During this period, led a number of asset turnarounds on ethylene crackers, derivative plants, butadiene and polymer plants which led to a Lead Mechanical Engineer role from 2007 to 2011 to oversee various TAR\'s for Ineos on Ethylene Plants. Progressed to a Construction Manager covering site wide works from 2011 through to 2015. Delivered successful Major Projects as a Construction Manager from 2015 with Ethane which was the O&P survival plan.
