Behaviour Specialist @Harlington School

As a Behaviour Specialist, I have been hired to support Harlington with a caseload of young people that are currently struggling to engage with education. I work systematically using behavioral data to identify reoccurring behaviour and students that may be regularly involved in these incidents. With these insights, I develop bespoke interventions that address not just the behaviour, but the reasons behind these behaviours. My intervention programmes range from 6-12 weeks to in order for there to be lasting,measurable impact in the young people that I have been assigned on my caseload. Other responsibilities include- Currently developing a framework for the school\'s mission to become an accredited Trauma Informed School- Create resources and materials for all staff that train staff of student engagement and behaviour management- Integral part of the development and restructuring of the school behaviour policy- Liaise with families and external agencies.
