About John Niles Wanamaker
I am an investor and a serial entrepreneur who has served as either Founder or CEO of companies from a wide range of industries. My focus has been on the creation of value and the monetization of that value.I have over 25 years of professional board service with a wide variety of companies and non-profit organizations. I served on the board of directors, chaired the strategic opportunities committee, and was a member of both the audit and nomination and governance committees of Alaska Communications (NASDQ: ALSK). I have also served as a director of many venture-funded, privately held companies, including: SpinLaunch, Venture Ad Astra (the company that invested in Immersive Media Company, which created the technology which powered Google’s “Street View” mapping product); and Zulutime, a company that developed breakthrough position, navigation and timing (PNT) technologies for satellites, wireless networks and innovative indoor location-based services.
