ABOUT JOHN NICHOLAS
A CTO/principal/lead/architect/whatever my team needs me to be - specialising with Microsoft technologies since late but very much a polyglot. Really feeling the enjoyment of cutting waste and focusing on defining value- Started self-employed, spent time contracting, then 8 years permanent, a year doing startups and now run my own company doing a mix of contract work, training and doing random pieces of work that people with pay for (making stuff, 3d printing, building products etc) Worked with many companies to lead and architecture solutions in a wide variety of sectors- Have successfully led and delivered with multiple small teams - Strong experience of meeting stake holder expectations, managing and developing their ask - Strong proponent of practises such as pair programming, TDD, BDD- Experience at all levels in a business at all but the large scales.
