Direct a team responsible for creating and executing all internal and external marketing and communications strategy, policy, budgets and plans for the Care Coordination Organization serving individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in 18 counties throughout Western New York, the Finger Lakes, and Southern Tier regions• Created several first-time organizational marketing and communications plans, processes, policies and channels, including for 1) internal, external, crisis and funding advocacy communications, 2) on-going social media and digital marketing campaigns, 3) annual reports, 4) internal, external, provider and community partner newsletters, 5) an annual multi-target group recognition program and 6) the organization’s 5-year anniversary celebration• Responsible for all proactive and reactive media relations and social media, including for inquiries involving complaints or on-going challenges of our members and when promoting the organization’s accomplishments or initiatives, and advocating for the organization’s important role in the communities it serves• Initiated and led a process to create and distribute a request for proposals to identify a new website developer, select the developer, negotiate a contract, and include all appropriate subject matter experts to relaunch the website • Manage and promoted members of the marketing and communications team, including the Senior Project Manager - Creative Communications & Marketing and the Senior Content & Brand Manager, which, as a team, receives 600+ internal requests to produce video, design branded materials, and create content for newsletters, the intranet site, website, social media or for internal and external communication plans• Appointed Co-Chair, Marketing & Communications Committee of the Developmental Disabilities Association of Western New York
