Manage the Nuclear Business Unit (NBU) integrated surveillance/audit programme on a day-to-day basis and ensure the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) actions are close out in a timely manner. • Support the Assurance Department, in ensuring by oversight that the Nuclear Submarine Dismantling Project (SDP) maintains a strong quality & safety culture and performance and effectively identifies and manages risk.• Develop, maintain and trend operational KPIs and metrics to define, facilitate, plan resources, implement and validate continuous and operational process improvement initiatives.• Represent Assurance and present an independent view on project processes, practices and governance to internal nuclear committees, department managers, process owners and stakeholders.• Represent Assurance and present an independent view on project processes, practices and governance to external Regulators.• Design and manage the annual surveillance program, ensuring that internal surveillance plan keeps to schedule.• Support the SDP internal and supplier audit programs by leading and participating in audits as required within the SDP annual audit schedules.• Prepare and troubleshoot non-conformance reports (NCs) and corrective actions (CAs) adopting and promoting best practice use of robust root cause methodologies to drive prevention of recurrence of non-conformance.• Support through effective assurance, oversight, challenge, and assessment, the Nuclear SDP Project’s Hold Point, Management of Change and Regulatory Commitment Processes• Review of written arrangements plans to ensure alignment with current legislative, regulatory, contractual, and corporate business requirements.• Supporting the organizations’ drive towards excellence in Health and Safety performance. Ensuring compliance with national and company health, safety and environmental regulations, policies and procedures.
