ABOUT JOHN MITCHELL

I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an Enrolled Agent (EA) with several years of experience. My primary practice focus is tax accounting. Currently, I work primarily with business owners and high-net-worth individuals. I aim to be a trusted member of a client\'s financial advisory circle. I go beyond the typical tax compliance work of the typical accountant and provide tax planning insight for my clients.My expertise includes small businesses, high-net-worth individuals, investment partnerships, trusts, and estates. On the business-side, I have worked with clients in several industries, including manufacturing, professional services, real estate, support services, construction, restaurant, wholesale, and retail. On the individual-side, I work with clients and their investment advisors covering a broad range of topics, including tax planning and estate planning.Another important area of my practice is estate and trust tax accounting. This is important work as I assist the trustee in preserving the wishes of those, who have gone before us.My career has been spanned several years, and I have worked with several outstanding organizations in Salt Lake City, Utah; Kansas City, Missouri; Milwaukee, Wisconsin, St. George, Utah, and now in Houston, Texas.
