I am a physician scientist specializing in Pediatric Infectious Diseases with a primary research focus on hemorrhagic fever viruses, including in virus entry and monoclonal antibody responses. My research has focused on investigating humoral immune responses following infections and vaccinations for a variety of pathogens including, Arenaviruses, Filoviruses, SARS-CoV-2, HIV, and RSV. I have a particular interest in understanding the role of humoral immune responses play in the outcomes of emerging and reemerging infectious diseases.
