My experience and responsibilities as a CEI Inspector include construction inspection and project management for a varity of infrastructure and water management projects.I have performed as a senior inspector for 16 years and have significant experience in civil engineering construction inspection.I am proficient at reading and interpreting plans, specifications, shop drawings as well as overseeing construction document controls and enforcing contract compliance. My work performance involved procedures for supervising and coordinating a variety of management tasks, contract support, payment for work including reviewing periodic pay estimates for accuracy with the contractor and approval of invoicing application of payment. My responsibilities also include performing field inspection and observation of all phases of construction and to ensure the completed work by the contractor complied with contract documents and professional standards. My duties include preparing daily and weekly reports, coordinating and observing materials testing and maintaining testing logs preparing sketches and assembling data for engineer\'s use in making changes to the project, keeping diaries and making reports on work accomplished and/or noted deficiencies, performing mathematical calculations, coordinating pre-construction meetings and bi-weekly progress meetings, reviewing contractor schedules and monthly updates, communicating effectively with the engineer, owner and owner’s operational and field staff on a regular basis, keeping them apprised of field conditions and maintaining active communications and excellent rapport with the owner and the entire project team throughout the construction process.
