ABOUT JOHN MILLAR
I wanted a new challenge following almost 40 years as a public sector programme manager and have had my confidence in my ability to teach boosted by gaining a post 16 PGCE Education and Training qualification. I then gained over a year\'s practical experience as an assessor/trainer of business apprentices and as an Access to HE tutor at Keighley College whilst also studying for an assessors qualification (CAVA Level 3) and a Praxis practitioner qualification in project and programme management. I am now a part-time trainer/assessor for L4 associate project apprentices at Leeds City College and have just been awarded a Level 3 qualification in Undertaking End Point Assessment.
