Leading a team to research and design affordable, quality-tested medical solutions that can be 3D printed in developing, remote communities across the globe.Proprietary ostomy appliances are often inaccessible, forcing these patients to improvise suboptimal solutions. I lead a team designing a low-cost 3D printable reusable ostomy system that safely secures a plastic grocery bag over a stoma. I advance the design process and streamline communication between team members and international surgeons.
