Product Manager within the CORTISONE Programme with responsibility for control of the information flow both within CORTISONE ecosystem, and across the Defence/NHS boundary. Responsibilities include: Stakeholder Engagement: Managing the relations of key stakeholders, and to help information cross between the information from a variety of stakeholders and the team Product Management: Making sure that products provide value and drive the right outcomes, whilst balancing user and business needs Managing Product Outcomes: Managing product outcomes involves working with teams to identify key performance indicators and developing methods to ensure that value is achieved through your product, linking to the product vision and strategic goals. Applying user-centred insights: Applying user-centred insights involves understanding all user needs and the problems that need to be solved, and applying insights to make decisions that meet these needs. Data Architecture Planning: Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data architecture strategies that align with the organization\'s goals.

ABOUT JOHN MCGOWAN
I\'ve over twenty years senior leadership and management experience in UK Defence project, programme and portfolio management, predominantly in a digital environment, and across many different areas of Defence included Head Office, Defence Digital, Defence Equipment & Support as well as the British Army and Royal Air Force. Latterly, I used my skills, knowledge and experience to provide capability development leadership to a large project delivery community in the Ministry of Defence as well as leading the development of the Target Operating. Model for the MOD Digital Skills for Defence (DS4D) programme.I joined SA Group in 2024 as a Lead Consultant at the end of my Civil Service career and am currently supporting Defence Digital and the National Armaments Director Group deliver the CORTISONE as Product Manager for Integration. I\'m happiest using my knowledge and experience delivering great P3M outcomes and in doing so helping others learn, develop and reach their potential. As such, I\'m passionate about supporting apprentices and graduates and anyone who wants to achieve their ambitions. I firmly believe that great people make successful projects and I want to keep contributing to both great delivery and to supporting great people doing delivery. Outside work I love live music and old vinyl. I\'m also a committed Germanophile and avid traveller.
